Guayakí Ginger Blast

Makes enough for a round of gourd drinking.

Ingredients

    • 6 Cups water
    • 3 Tbsp Fresh Ginger (chopped or shredded)
    • 6 Tbsp Honey
    • 1 Tbsp Lemon juice (optional)

Directions

  1. Boil the ginger for 5 - 10 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool for 1 minute.
  2. Strain the mixture to get just a clear ginger tea, then stir in the honey and lemon. Keep it hot in a thermos or serve directly from the tea kettle.
  3. Add to your gourd.
