Our chai spice mate teabags are made with an array of organic ingredients, to give it a special flavor and to help improve one’s health. Along with yerba mate the tea bags contain: cinnamon, licorice, ginger, nutmeg, clove and stevia.
In South America, yerba mate has been revered for centuries as the “drink of the gods” and is enjoyed daily for vitality, clarity, and well-being. Yerba mate is traditionally used as a catalyst to unleash the powerful effects of other herbs such as in this blend.
A nourishing, green source of energy, the leaves of the yerba mate tree deliver a unique trio of stimulants: caffeine, theobromine and theophylline as well as 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, and abundant antioxidants.

Delicious
By: Alec of Chicago, IL
This tea has a warm, spicy aroma that starts my morning off right. I mix in a little bit of sugar (and sometimes a touch of milk) for an extra boost of energy and my brain kicks into cruise mode. Less potent than coffee, sure, but I'll take some flavor and an even keel over the caffeine-induced redline any day!

This is GREAT tea!!!!
By: Sherry of Durham, NC
No need to add any sweetener. I am not a hot tea drinker. But this tea has a great taste. And I have started drinking hot tea more often. I am looking forward to trying other flavors.

Honestly, I do- don't drink anything else. Big warm mug late morning, big warm mug afternoons, and an evening nightcap. I have three ferral kids, and mate helps me keep up with them. Chai mate is a life-saver. Love the tea, LOVE the company. Best people/product around
